What You’ll Need
All you’ll need to make this 5 ingredient ground beef recipe is a large skillet with a lid, a wooden spoon, and these simple ingredients:
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tbsp Ground Oregano
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes (Original or Spicy)
- Salt to taste



How to Make this Ground Beef Recipe
Heat a large skillet over medium/high heat and add olive oil. Season one side of the meat with half of the cumin and oregano. Add the ground beef to the skillet seasoned side down. Season the other side with the remaining cumin and oregano. Break up the meat into small chunks and continue to cook until brown (about 5 minutes). Add in the can of tomatoes, stirring occasionally until it comes to a boil (about 5 minutes). *Option here to test a spoonful of the juice to see if it needs more seasoning or salt. Lower the heat and cover with a well fitting lid. Cook covered for another 5 minutes. Now you’re ready to enjoy your super easy delicious ground beef!
