Looking for a gift for the toddler in your life? You’re in the right place! This toddler gift guide is filled with toys that your toddler will be OBSESSED with. (All items are linked at the bottom of this post).
As a mom of a busy toddler myself, each item on this list has been personally tested and toddler approved! I’m always looking for gifts that I know will make my son light up, while also being developmentally appropriate. A real win-win when your toddler’s favorite toy is also helping them learn new skills!
I’ve included two gift guide categories, one for all busy toddlers and another specifically for toddler boys. Now let’s get into it!
2024-Toddler-Gift-GuideGift Guide for the Busy Toddler
- Climbing Triangle with Slide: If your toddler uses your house as their personal climbing gym (like mine does), this item is a MUST HAVE! My son has had this climbing triangle for over a year and has used it every single day. I love that it comes with a slide attachment and folds for easy storage.
- Yoto Mini Audio Player: This little audio player is the ABSOLUTE BEST. If you’re looking for screen-free entertainment on the go, you NEED this! With the Yoto, your toddler can select the audio card they want to listen to, the song/story they want to hear, and even control the volume with two easy button dials. My son is OBSESSED. There are other child audio players, but I found this one to be the most intuitive and portable.
- Yoto Adventure Jacket: Let’s be honest, toddler’s aren’t known for being gentle with electronics. I highly recommend getting this cover (it comes in super cute colors).
- Yoto Cards: There are so many incredible music/audiobook options to choose from. My son’s personal favorites are The Very Hungry Caterpillar audiobook series and Row your Boat playlist. You can also purchase blank cards, and make your toddler their very own mix tapes! You and your family members can record yourself reading your toddlers favorite books or even singing their favorite songs.
- Toddler Tower/Table: We use this DAILY. I love that this toddler tower is multipurpose, such a great space saver!
- Kid’s Cozy Chair: I had no idea how much he would enjoy this chair, but it’s now a staple in our house. It’s his favorite place to read and get cozy, plus it looks cute in the house.
- LeapFrog Learning Toys: These LeapFrog learning books are an awesome way to keep your toddler entertained without screen time. These learning books have touch pages that teach words and phrases in both English and Spanish.
Gift Guide for Toddler Boys
- Construction Site Books: We love every book in this series by Sherri Rinker. They have great rhyming schemes and adorable illustrations. We read these daily, sometimes multiple times a day.
- Tonka Metal Movers: These make great stocking-stuffers! These little trucks are actually made of metal, which means they will stand the test of time. I love how sturdy they feel and they are small enough to throw in your purse for travel toys.
- Construction Micro Fleet: These mid-size trucks are AWESOME. They make realistic sounds and all have detailed moving parts.
- Ride On Excavator: An instant hit! So fun to take to the beach or even just for riding around the house! This one even comes with a construction hat and little boulders.
